I’m proud to mention that our own research assistant, Colin
Jones, was the #1 analyst and trader among all entrants in this fall’s
Washington Stock Market Simulation competition, moving a mock portfolio from
$100,000 on October 7, 2002 to $157,872 eight weeks later. Last Friday he

(Too bad it wasn’t real money.
But if it were, I probably would have had to find another research
assistant.) Colin is a senior at Olympia High School, Academic
Decathlon winner, digital artist … and works at The Ergotec Group
three days each week, maintaining our LAN and PCs, updating databases,
Google-ing and hunting on Yahoo! Finance, and more.
If you can pull any strings to help get him into M.I.T. or Amherst
College, please let me know. Questions about this industry? E-mail
me or call 360 357-1000. -- Dan
